The tickets will be available for pick up starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, at KLRU-TV. Tickets will not be available before this time. Tickets are not to be sold.
Look for the “Space Available line” sign. KLRU will hand out tickets on a first come, first served basis. You will also receive a number at that time to reserve your spot in line. Each winner will receive two tickets. Winners will need a photo ID to claim their tickets. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the taping will begin at 8 p.m. Please remember, these tickets DO NOT guarantee admission to the taping. As soon as we reach our capacity limit, we cannot admit any other people to the studio.

Austin City Limits will tape a performance by Them Crooked Vultures on Wednesday, September 30, starting at 8 p.m. We will be giving away a VERY limited number of Space Available tickets to this taping. Submit your name and email by noon on Monday, Sept. 28. Recipients will receive 2 tickets each and be chosen through a random drawing. Please be in Austin or the surrounding community. These tickets do NOT guarantee admission. Space Available ticket recipients will receive an email notification with details about the taping.
It?s not unusual for Austin City Limits to turn the spotlight on collections of veteran musicians united temporarily for a common purpose. Such is the case for Them Crooked Vultures, a power trio featuring Josh Homme, frontman for Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl, leader of the Foo Fighters (and former drummer for Nirvana), and John Paul Jones, bassist/keyboardist for the mighty Led Zeppelin. Now TCV will kick off its North American tour with an appearance both at the ACL Festival and in Studio 6A. Please join us for a set of brand new, wall-shaking rock & roll.

Crossing fingers as I’m a huge fan of anything Homme, but good luck to everyone. Listening to the songs on youtube and some bootleg tapings, it’s nearly impossible to not get your groove on when they play songs like Scumbag Blues, Dead End Friends, or Gunman.

hey all, i was fortunate enough to win tickets to the show. i was wondering if contest winners were assigned ticket numbers (to wait in line) or if it’s a first come, first serve basis? i won tickets to the allen toussaint show, but unfortunately capacity was reached before i could get in. this time i plan on coming early to pick up my tickets.
