ACL encores

Friday, December 4th, 2009 by mtoland

Loyal viewers (which is all of you, right?) have no doubt noticed that ACL is in encore mode at the moment. We’re taking a break from new episodes for the duration of the holidays and the PBS winter pledge drive, but fear not - new episodes will be back on January 9, starring the legendary Allen Toussaint. In the meantime we hope you’ll stick with us, even if you’ve seen these episodes before. We’ve got some great stuff coming up, including:

December 5 - Aimee Mann/Iron & Wine
December 12 - The Decemberists/Explosions in the Sky
December 19 - Kings of Leon/Roky Erickson
December 26 - Arcade Fire
January 2 - Gnarls Barkley/Thievery Corporation

Whether you dig introspective songwriting, bootyshaking grooves, intricate epics, crashing waves of sound or straight up rockin’, we’ve got your poison to pick. This should keep everyone satisfied until the dapper Mr. Toussaint makes his debut on Jan. 9. Enjoy!

And…if you don’t want to wait for these episodes to air (or if your local station’s pledge schedule bumps them from your schedule), you can watch them all online NOW! Watch full episodes here.
